How to report a crime in the City of Princeton.

There are several ways in which one can report a crime that either has happened, or is happening.

1. If the crime is in progress:  Dial 9-1-1.

2. If the crime has already happened, but it is serious in nature: Dial 9-1-1.

3. If the crime has been committed, and there is no immediate threat : Dial 1-888-860-8250*.

4. If it is during normal business hours** and you wish to speak to an officer, or you would
    like to leave a voicemail message for an officer: Dial 763-389-4879.

  **Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

When reporting a crime to 9-1-1 please give all information which you are able to gather.  For example: age, height, weight, clothing of subject; color, make, model, direction of travel of vehicle.

REWARD

There are special cases which warrant the issuance of a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offender.  If you have any information regarding a crime that you may feel fits these circumstances please call the PD at 763-389-4879.  All information will be handled as discretely as possible.
